🏅 VASE GOLD SEAL AWARD🏅 Take a moment to congratulate HHS Senior, Birdie Linthicum!! VASE (Visual Arts Scholastic Event) is an annual art competition sponsored by UIL and the Texas Art Education Association. It is difficult to make it through District and Regionals, but even more so to qualify for State. Out of 2,350 State Qualifiers, only the top 10% of entries receive the Gold Seal. That's 164 high school students in the ENTIRE State of Texas. And our own Birdie WAS ONE OF THEM!!!!!!!! This is the highest level students can achieve. Birdie's piece is titled "For Gran: Don't Forget" a tribute to her grandmother who has Alzheimer's. It is a stunning piece of artwork and we could not be more proud of Birdie's accomplishment!!
