Free UIL Physicals available for some HMS Students.
The UIL requires physicals for certain students who will participate in athletics, band, and other UIL activities. As an HISD Community Partner, UT Health will provide UIL physicals at no cost for the following students:
• Current 6th graders who will be in 7th grade athletics, twirling and cheerleading in 2023-24.
• Current 8th graders who will be in 9th grade athletics, band (including twirling), cheerleading, or drill team in 2023-24.
The physicals will take place on April 12th at HMS. Your child will bring home a physical form this week. Please fill out and sign the ‘Medical History’ form. The form MUST have a parent signature for your child to receive a free physical. Please have your child return the signed form to their coach, band director, or sponsor by April 10th.
