We are excited to announce that our Book Fair is coming next week!
When: September 8-11
Where: HMS Media Center
Students will be able to browse a wide selection of books and other fun items during the fair. We encourage families to send students with money or set up a Book Fair eWallet. You can add funds to your students eWallet ahead of time, and they can use those funds to purchase books and other items at the fair.
Families are welcome to shop the book fair with their student during their scheduled lunch time:
6th Grade: 11:40-12:10
7th Grade: 12:34-1:04
8th Grade: 11:06-11:36
Can't make it to the book fair? Families can shop online from September 7-20.

🎉 Henderson ISD earns a B!
The 2026 TEA accountability ratings are out, and Henderson ISD earned an overall B rating, while our campuses earned a combined SEVEN state distinction designations!
🦁 Henderson High School earned an 89 overall and FIVE distinctions in Reading/ELA, Science, Academic Growth, Postsecondary Readiness and Closing the Gaps.
🔬 Henderson Middle School and Northside each earned a distinction for Academic Achievement in Science.
These results reflect a lot of hard work by our students and staff, and while we still have work to do, we're proud of the progress happening across Henderson ISD!

Please remember that you have until Friday, August 21 to complete your student’s physical, medical history, and RankOne forms. All required documentation must be completed by this deadline. If these requirements are not completed, your student’s schedule will be changed and they will be removed from athletics.

Chromebook collection is happening this week. All 8th grade students are required to return their Chromebook, charger, and case.
If any item is missing or not returned, a replacement fee will be added to the student’s account and will remain until the item is returned or the fee is paid.
Return Schedule:
Hornsby classes: Wednesday, May 6
Wassom classes: Thursday, May 7
Please be sure to send money for any replacement fees on your student’s assigned return day if a charger or case is missing or damaged.
