UPDATE: The water leak at Henderson Middle School has been stopped, and crews are currently working on cleanup. Water service remains available on campus, and students will continue with the regular school day.
Lunch will be served as normal, and buses will run at their regular times this afternoon.
Families who would prefer to pick up their student early may do so. Student checkout will take place through the front office. A photo ID will be required, and anyone picking up a student must be listed as a guardian or emergency contact in the student’s record.
We appreciate the assistance of the Henderson Fire Department and the work of our maintenance team in responding quickly to the situation.

Several of our middle school robotics teams competed in the Region 7 Robotics Mat Design Challenge...and one creative team WON! The winning mat design, "Robolution," earned them the title of Region 7 Mat Design Champions! Congratulations to Sadi Lockhart, Hinlea Wright, Maci Recendiz, Melany Soriano and Jennifer In (not pictured). Their design was picked from 46 entries and will be used for all districts at the Region 7 robotics competition in May.
