There has been a change to next weekās football schedule. HMS will now play Chapel Hill at Chapel Hill on Thursday, September 11th.
The pep rally is still scheduled for 3:00 PM.
Friday, September 5, 2025 will be an Early Dismissal for Students / PM Planning Day for Staff.

Homecoming is next week! HMS students will only dress up on Thursday. The theme is Hawaiian/Vacation Attire.
Please rememberāstudents are NOT allowed to wear mums to school.

Quick update about Chromebooks:
*8th grade students will take their Chromebooks home this year.
*6th and 7th grade students will use Chromebooks from classroom carts.
ONLY 8th grade will need to pay the Chromebook insurance fee this year. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out!

Please ensure you log into Skyward (preferably using a desktop computer) to complete the registration process for all returning students. Students will not receive their class schedules until registration is complete.
HMS will be open tomorrow from 8:00 AM to 11:30 AM for those needing help with the registration process or access to a computer.
Uniforms are required for students enrolled in Pre-Athletics (6th grade) and Physical Education (6th, 7th, and 8th grades).
**Please Note: Students participating in 7th and 8th grade Athletics do not need to purchase a PE uniform.
